Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

MyTheme Studio is made and run by Shreyas Kumar, an independent developer (“I”, “me”, “we”). This policy explains what data the browser extensions MyTheme Studio for GitHub and MyTheme Studio for LeetCode, and this website, handle.

The short version

The extensions do not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Everything they store stays in your own browser.

What the extensions store

• Your settings: the selected theme and on or off switches, saved in your browser’s extension storage. If you use browser sync, your browser may sync these settings between your own devices.
• Your progress: unlocked achievements, XP and daily streak, saved in your browser’s local storage and extension storage.

This data never leaves your device through us. You can delete it at any time by removing the extension or clearing site data.

Permissions and why they are needed

• Access to github.com, gist.github.com, leetcode.com and leetcode.cn: to apply themes, labels, sounds and animations to those pages. The extensions only change how pages look. They do not read, copy or send your code, repositories, submissions or account details.
• storage: to remember your settings and progress.
• api.lemonsqueezy.com: only used when you activate or re check a Pro license key, as described below.
• tabs and activeTab: to switch the theme instantly in tabs that are already open.

Payments

Payments for MyTheme Studio Pro are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details to process the order, calculate tax and send your receipt and license key. I receive your name, email and order details for support and refunds. I never see or store your full card details. Lemon Squeezy describes its handling of data in its privacy policy.

License activation

When you paste a Pro license key and press Activate, the extension sends the key and a label such as “MyTheme Studio for GitHub on Chrome” to the Lemon Squeezy License API to check that it is valid. The extension then re checks the key about once a week. The key is stored only in your browser’s extension storage. Nothing else about you or your browsing is sent. Free users never send anything.

This website is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site. The site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

You can ask what personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to its use by emailing shkshreyaskumar@gmail.com. I will reply within 30 days.

MyTheme Studio is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from them.
